About the SP-900YC
SP-900YC is a diesel generator set of 900 kW (1125 kVA), built on the Yuchai YC6C1520-D31 engine: 6 cylinders, 39.58 L, 1500 rpm. Prime power, 900 kW, is what it delivers for unlimited hours; standby power, 1000 kW, is for emergency supply only. At 900 kW it covers a shopping mall, a large hospital, a data centre or a plant.
At full load it burns 258 L/h, about 2064 L over an 8-hour shift; at partial load, less. It is built open or in a canopy and weighs from 9300 kg. A container or trailer build and an ATS panel are options.
