About the SP-1000C1
SP-1000C1 is a diesel generator set of 1000 kW (1250 kVA), built on the Cummins QSK38-G5 engine: 12 cylinders, 37.8 L, 1500 rpm. Prime power, 1000 kW, is what it delivers for unlimited hours; standby power, 1100 kW, is for emergency supply only. At 1000 kW it covers a shopping mall, a large hospital, a data centre or a plant.
At full load it burns 274 L/h, about 2192 L over an 8-hour shift; at partial load, less. It is built open or in a canopy and weighs from 7800 kg. A container or trailer build and an ATS panel are options.
