SP-550YC is a diesel generator set of 550 kW (687.5 kVA), built on the Yuchai YC6TD900-D31 engine: 6 cylinders, 19.6 L, 1500 rpm. Prime power, 550 kW, is what it delivers for unlimited hours; standby power, 600 kW, is for emergency supply only. At 550 kW it covers a shopping mall, a large hospital, a data centre or a plant.
