About the SP-2000YC
SP-2000YC is a diesel generator set of 2000 kW (2500 kVA), built on the Yuchai YC16VC3300-D31 engine: 16 cylinders, 105.56 L, 1500 rpm. Prime power, 2000 kW, is what it delivers for unlimited hours; standby power, 2200 kW, is for emergency supply only. At 2000 kW it covers a plant, a mine or a remote site where the generator is the main source of power.
At full load it burns 533 L/h, about 4264 L over an 8-hour shift; at partial load, less. It is built open or in a canopy and weighs from 17864 kg. A container or trailer build and an ATS panel are options.
