About the SP-1600YC
SP-1600YC is a diesel generator set of 1600 kW (2000 kVA), built on the Yuchai YC16VTD2700-D30 engine: 16 cylinders, 52.26 L, 1500 rpm. Prime power, 1600 kW, is what it delivers for unlimited hours; standby power, 1760 kW, is for emergency supply only. At 1600 kW it covers a plant, a mine or a remote site where the generator is the main source of power.
At full load it burns 432.5 L/h, about 3460 L over an 8-hour shift; at partial load, less. It is built open or in a canopy and weighs from 13000 kg. A container or trailer build and an ATS panel are options.
