About the SP-1500YC1
SP-1500YC1 is a diesel generator set of 1500 kW (1875 kVA), built on the Yuchai YC16VTD2510-D30 engine: 16 cylinders, 52.26 L, 1500 rpm. Prime power, 1500 kW, is what it delivers for unlimited hours; standby power, 1650 kW, is for emergency supply only. At 1500 kW it covers a plant, a mine or a remote site where the generator is the main source of power.
At full load it burns 374.4 L/h, about 2995 L over an 8-hour shift; at partial load, less. It is built open or in a canopy and weighs from 12000 kg. A container or trailer build and an ATS panel are options.
