SP-1400WC is a diesel generator set of 1400 kW (1750 kVA), built on the Weichai 16M33D1680E310 engine: 16 cylinders, 52.3 L, 1500 rpm. Prime power, 1400 kW, is what it delivers for unlimited hours; standby power, 1540 kW, is for emergency supply only. At 1400 kW it covers a plant, a mine or a remote site where the generator is the main source of power.
