About the SP-240P
SP-240P is a diesel generator set of 240 kW (300 kVA), built on the Perkins 1506A-E88TAG5 engine: 6 cylinders, 8.8 L, 1500 rpm. Prime power, 240 kW, is what it delivers for unlimited hours; standby power, 264 kW, is for emergency supply only. At 240 kW it covers a business centre, a hospital wing, a production line or a residential complex.
At full load it burns 65 L/h, about 520 L over an 8-hour shift; at partial load, less. It is built open or in a canopy and weighs from 2150 kg. A container or trailer build and an ATS panel are options.
